We have developed a Nursing Assistant Training Program to prepare the student for helping care for residents in a healthcare facility, under the direction and supervision of a licensed nurse.

Fundamental of Caregiving
Anyone
giving direct care in an adult family home, an adult residential care
facility, or assisted living facility must take a "Fundamentals of
Caregiving"
course. If you are already certified, you can take the shortened
"Modified Fundamentals Training" course.
Modified
Fundamentals of Caregiving
To
take this class you must be an RN, LPN, OT, PT, NAC, NAR or have AFH,
MPC, or Medicare Home Health Training. If not, you must take
"Fundamentals of Caregiving".
Cardiopulmonary
Resuscitation (CPR)
This is the American Heart Association “Heart Saver Plus” Program. A
CPR card is issued upon successful completion.
BCLS-Basic
Cardiac Life Support
Certificate issued upon successful completion.
ACLS-Advanced
Cardiac Life Support

Automated External Defibrillator (AED)
First
Aid
(CPR is not included.) This is the Red Cross course.
